everything HelpDesk System Requirements
These System Requirements are for LEGACY on-premise customers using everything HelpDesk (eHD). NOTE: Several years ago GroupLink began providing eHD subscriptions exclusively for cloud-hosted customers. If you are a legacy customer using eHD on-premise, and would like to move to the cloud (recommended), please contact GroupLink about our assistance to you in migrating your eHD system to be cloud-hosted by GroupLink.
Hardware Recommendations
The hardware listed below is a recommendation by GroupLink for efficient eHD operation. Note that each server (database, Tomcat, etc.) does not need to reside on a separate system, although it is recommended in larger installations (with more than 20,000 users).

The installer comes pre-packaged with all the software components needed to run eHD (Java, Tomcat Server, and MySQL Database). When re-installing or upgrading to the latest version on Linux, and if you have experience with Linux systems, you may wish to upgrade using the approach replacing the war file. Otherwise you an upgrade using the installer.
NOTE: If you are not using the all-inclusive installer, GroupLink can provide general information to you about Java JDK Environment, Tomcat Server, and Database Server. However, as outlined in your license agreement, GroupLink cannot assume responsibility for those systems on your premises. If you would like GroupLink to assume responsibility for those systems please contact GroupLink about our assistance to you in migrating your eHD system to be cloud-hosted by GroupLink.
